Why June

Every day this month, something worth filming is already happening.

The hard part of club content is usually finding the story. In June, you don't have to find it. It's on the first tee at 6am with the men's league. It's in the pool with the aquatics class. It's in the dining room where members are actually showing up. It's on the putting green where a junior is touching a club for the first time. This guide breaks down four content moments your club has right now and exactly what to shoot for each one.

01 / 04
Golf Operations
Golf Is Happening Every Day

Leagues are running, couples are out on Saturday evenings, and your signature events are coming. The course is in perfect condition. Film all of it.

02 / 04
🏌️
Instruction & Junior Programs
School Is Out. Juniors Are In.

The first week of summer is your best window to launch junior golf content. Parents are making summer decisions in real time. Show them your program is alive.

03 / 04
🏊
Aquatics & Family Life
The Pool Makes the Summer

Pool is open, aquatic classes are running, and families are spending full days at the club. Film that version of your club and you reach people making decisions for their entire household.

04 / 04
🍷
Food & Beverage
The Dining Room Is Alive Again

Members are using the club more actively this month than any other. Post-round dinners. Friday evenings at the bar. Show them what they're missing when they leave at the bag drop.

Day-in-the-Life Film
League Play Is Back
Document the full arc of league day. The prep and staging before the first cart rolls out. Players arriving, catching up at the bag drop. The pre-shotgun speech from the Head Pro. Scoring posted, shots from the course, the group settling in at lunch after the round. This is a full day at your club on film — it shows perspective members exactly what they're missing and reminds current members why they love it here.
Social / Evening Feature
9 & Dine
Saturday evening couples golf is one of the most visually compelling things a private club does. Film couples on the course — the laughter, the banter, the quiet moment walking a fairway together. Then follow them to the table. The foursome sharing a meal and a drink, the conversation that flows naturally after nine holes. This is membership marketing that does not feel like marketing at all.
Event Feature
The Events That Define the Season
Member/Member, Member/Guest — these are the events your members talk about all year. Show the prep. The tee gift staging. The course set up overnight. The history behind why this event matters at your specific club. Send personalized content to registered players before the event and build real anticipation. Give people a look behind the curtain. Show them what makes your event different from every other club's version of the same format.
Course Feature
The Course Is at Its Best
June is when your agronomy team's work pays off. Capture it. Hole-by-hole drone flyovers. Wide aerials at first light. The Head Pro playing your signature hole on camera and walking through how a member should think about it strategically. This content serves every audience — members who play here every day and prospective members who have never walked the property.

Golf content in June is not just for golfers. It is the visual proof that something exceptional is happening at your club right now. Film it like it matters, because for your members, it does.

Reel / Short Form
First Day of Junior Golf
Document the first junior clinic of the summer. Kids arriving, putting on gloves for the first time, the Head Pro crouching down to show a grip. The emotion on a parent's face watching their kid swing a club. This content is built for sharing and it reaches an audience your golf content never will.
Interview
The Pro's Philosophy on Teaching Kids
Two minutes with the Head Pro or lead instructor on camera. Not a drill breakdown — a conversation about why they love teaching juniors, what they want every kid to leave the summer with, and what the game gave them at that age. Parents will save this and send it to each other.
Member Perspective
Why I Love the Club
Put a microphone in front of the kids and ask them one question: what do you love most about coming here? Let them answer in their own words. Unscripted, unfiltered. The joy that comes through is something no adult interview can replicate. Parents will share this everywhere. It is some of the most effective content a club can make.
Parent-Facing
What Your Kid Gets This Summer
A walkthrough of the full junior program. What a typical clinic day looks like, what skills are covered across the summer, how kids are grouped, and what a junior with no experience will leave with by August. Post it as a carousel. Parents will send it to people who are not members yet.

Junior golf content reaches the parents, not just the kids. Every parent watching your junior reel is a member making a decision about whether their family belongs here. Treat it accordingly.

Reel / Short Form
A Full Day at the Club
Morning tee time, lunch at the halfway house, afternoon at the pool, dinner on the patio. One family. One day. Film it in sixty seconds. This is the most compelling membership pitch a club can make and most clubs never make it.
Program Feature
Aquatics This Summer
Sit down the Pool Director for two minutes on camera. What classes are running, who they're for, what a first-timer should know. Film a few minutes of an actual class in the background. Parents who don't know these programs exist will find out because of this video.
Member Moment
Why Families Belong Here
Ask a member family what the pool means to their summer. Ask the kids. Let them answer without a script. The authentic answer is better than anything you could write, and it will connect with every family in your membership who hasn't been out yet.
Poolside F&B
What's on the Menu at the Pool
Film the food and drinks exactly where they're consumed. Burger at the umbrella table. Frozen drink handed to a member still in their suit. Context sells better than a menu board. Put the product in the environment it belongs in.

The pool is your highest-retention amenity for families. Members who use the pool stay. Film the summer as it's happening and give them a reason to show up every week, not just on holidays.

Post-Round Dinner
The natural extension of a great round is a great meal. Film the transition from the 18th green to the table. The handshake at the cup, the walk to the clubhouse, the seat at the bar. Show members that the club doesn't end at the bag drop. The best rounds finish in the dining room.
Feature
The Summer Menu
Whatever is new on the menu this month, shoot it properly. Good light, close detail, the dish in motion. One item per video. Members who only come in for golf will come in for dinner if you give them a reason to. This is that reason.
Staff Feature
Meet the Team Behind the Kitchen
One to two minutes with the Executive Chef or F&B Director. What they're excited about this season, where an ingredient comes from, what they'd order if they were sitting down tonight. Members who feel connected to the staff use the restaurant more. This is that connection.
Atmosphere
Friday Night at the Club
Show the atmosphere come to life as members come in from the golf course to enjoy the evening. The camaraderie, the shared moments, the room filling with people who have been looking forward to this all week. No voiceover needed. Warm light, familiar faces, the sound of a good evening already underway. Done right, this creates an unmistakable feeling in the viewer: I should be there.

F&B content is your most direct revenue driver. Members who see the dining room looking great will use it that weekend. Don't assume they already know how good it is. Show them every week.

You're busy,
let me film it.

When your club is documented well, current members feel proud of where they belong and prospective members can see themselves here. Great content builds community on the inside and drives real interest from the outside. That is what your club deserves to have working for it.
